This old Buffalo Bull has been around the block a few times, you can tell by his well-worn appearance. He now spends much of his time taking leisurely mud baths, in the company of a few other old bulls. Grumpy and aggressive, donโt underestimate him, he can still move pretty fast.
Ron, I need wording here to match the painting This is the important stuff and needs careful wording for google to be able to link this pages pictures to what a surfer may be looking for.
What a beautiful animal, with a very refined head and those fantastic horns.
Fearless animals that are more than prepared to take on Lions while kneeling and using those horns to great effect

This chap has been around the block a few times, with all the battle scars to prove it. Look into those eyes, do you see the hint of fire? He is a long way from done

Designed to blend in with the surrounding bushes, this Leopard could vanish in a second.
Thirty meters of Zebstroke in the croc challenge. Some of the participants are taken to dinner.
Of all wild animals, Leopards are my favourites. There are many reasons for this but here are just a few. I have just had second thoughts about this and I'm not going to tell you, because I'm supposed to be telling you about the painting.
This painting was done from a very good photograph. Much more of the leopard was visible and she was sitting. I was very pleased with the progress of the painting and as I normally do I put it down to view at a distance.
The eyes were complete (always my starting point) and the nose, is well on the way. In fact, I had started putting in the dark markings around the eyes to make them look more realistic, when this thought came to me.
The leopard would look much better if it was painted looking down. I changed the angles, removed the body and now had a leopard looking down, the face was no longer competing with a body background and was far more visible. To make a long story a little shorter I spent a long time on this painting, used the maximum skill I possess and completed what I consider to be the best leopard portrait I have ever done.
