A German dog bred to herd and pull carts. This is a very strong dog and for this reason alone, should be treated with respect.

Bred in Germany, the Boxer is a breed of stocky, medium size, short-haired dogs. It is bright and friendly, but brave and determined when aroused. Brindle with white socks is my favourite colour for a Boxer, they look so good in a show ring.
The " Lassie Collie, " is always what I think of when I see one of these dogs. What a beautiful and clever dog it was, I hope the kids of today still have the opportunity to see the movie, it will make them appreciate what fantastic animals dogs are. It will also teach them to be kind and to respect their pets, lessons of great value, that every child should be taught.
This is a very large dog, the tallest of all dog breeds. Hunting wolves would require a dog that was big, strong and fast. They have a rough coat and my attempt to capture that, made for a most satisfying painting
